***IMPORTANT MESSAGE***
I’ve wrote a few posts concerning this, but I’m obviously not reaching everyone as I’m still getting messages daily asking this question. So if as many of you could SHARE this post and tell your friends, I would appreciate it, as I don’t want people to get to release day and be disappointed.
Wethering the Storm will ONLY be available to purchase via Amazon. It will NOT be available to buy on any other sites. The reason being that my publisher is Montlake – a division of Amazon Publishing.
I know many of you purchased The Mighty Storm when it was self-pubbed via other outlets, and I did take this into consideration when Montlake approached me with their deal, but signing with a traditional publisher had always been a dream of mine and I had to go with my heart. Also, when making the decision to sign with Montlake, I factored in that many people nowadays have iPhones, iPads, etc. where the Kindle app can be downloaded, allowing them to; if they choose, to buy and read WTS. And it will be available in paperback.
I am truly sorry to those of you who don’t have a Kindle or access to a Kindle app. Trust me, you weren’t overlooked, I didn’t make this decision lightly.
Thanks for all the support you have given me – its means the absolute world. I wouldn’t be here, if it weren’t for you guys.

TROUBLE TEASER
I'm having some real fun with Jordan today! So I
thought I'd share a tidbit from TROUBLE, and the candy... well, just because...

“Cool. We’ll watch a movie then.” I get to my feet. “I have a shitload of great movies in there – so you choose.” I point to the cabinet next to the TV, indicating their whereabouts. “I’m just gonna go change.”
I feel Mia’s eyes on me as I leave the room. The second I’m out of sight,
I run downstairs to my room. Yes, I’m that
lame.
I change into a tank and shorts, spray deodorant, put on some
aftershave, and brush my teeth – you know just in case.

What Wethering is about...
I think I might have put this post up before a while back... but I'll say it again, just to be sure, because I've seen quite a lot of mentions lately around what WETHERING THE STORM is about. And for some reason, some people are under the impression that WTS will be the retelling of The Mighty Storm, from Jake's POV.
It's not.
WTS is the sequel to TMS. Told predominantly told from Tru's POV, but there are chapters told from Jake's POV also.
Just thought I'd clear that up. Happy Hump Day! :)

TROUBLE TEASER....
I thought
it was about time I gave you a TEASER of TROUBLE, as I've been pretty quiet
about it, since I started rewriting it! It's taken me an age to pick a scene,
and this is the only one which doesn't give away any spoilers! This scene is
from Jordan's POV, and Mia and Jordan are collecting his dog Dozer from the
vets.
It's not smexy, but there is cussing, so I'm putting the "18+ WARNING" on just in case, and of course it’s unedited, subject to change, etc.

make my way back over to Mia, where Dozer is still making doe eyes at her.

“Ready?”
I reach down for Dozer’s leash.
Turning
his head, he knocks my hand away with that huge cone he’s wearing, and puts his
leash in his mouth and holds it out for Mia to take.
Nice
Dozer, blowing me off for a chick. I think he forgets who feeds him.
Not
that I can blame him though. I’d do the same. I’d let her lead me around all
day long if she asked – only if I got a pay day at the end of it of course.
Taking
the leash from his mouth, she rubs his head.
She gazes
up at me, a smile pushing the corner of her mouth. “Is it okay with you if I
walk him out to your car?”
“Doesn’t
look like you’ve got much of a choice.” I grin in the direction of Dozer’s
wagging tail. “I think you’ve got an admirer.”
She
giggles. It’s one of the sexist sounds I’ve ever heard.
“Well
Dozer wouldn’t be a bad admirer to have, but I reckon I’m just a new face to
get some attention from—not that I imagine you ever struggle for attention,”
she says to Dozer. “Handsome boy that you are…aren’t you…yes, you are.” She smooshes
his face in her hands, and I actually find myself jealous of my dog.
I’m
jealous of my dog.
I
really need to get laid.
“Let’s
go.” I shove my hands in my pockets, and head for the door and out to my car.
I help
Dozer in the back seat. Turning, I find Mia hovering behind me, as he settles
himself.
“Should
I sit in the back with him?” she asks, biting her lip.
Jesus,
I want to bite that lip. Lick it. Suck it. Fuck it.
I
see Dozer’s head lift, and ears prick up. “Nah, he’ll be fine. You’ll have more
room up front here next to me.”
“Okay…if
you’re sure.”
I
see Dozer’s head drop on a grunt.
I hold
back the smile I feel, as I watch Mia walk around the car and climb in. But as
I’m getting in the car, I can’t resist giving Dozer a smug grin.
Honestly,
the look he’s giving me right now – I reckon if he could flip me off, he would.
Yep, you lost that round, Dozer.
I
turn the ignition, feeling pretty satisfied with myself that I’ve got Mia
sitting up front with me…then it hits me.
I
was just in a pissing contest with my dog.

Trouble....
Some of you have been asking me about Trouble, if it will still be released in June... the short answer is no. To cut a long story short, I was struggling to write Trouble. It took a while to figure out why... resulting in a long chat with my Beta and an even longer conversation with my hubby... turns out I was writing the wrong story. I was writing the story I wanted Mia and Jordan to have, not the story they were trying to tell me. And trust me things run a lot smoother when I just go with their flow - especially Jordan’s ;)
So this means everything I have written so far is null and void. I'm starting again. Sounds bad. Not really, because I'm actually writing the story a lot faster now that I'm listening to them.
Date for release? Not sure. But I promise to keep you all posted.

TMS, WTS... and confusion!
It seems I may have confused some of you with my
post regarding WETHERING THE STORM and Barnes & Noble yesterday from the
messages I’ve been receiving, so let me try again…
Because I signed a publishing deal with Montlake
(Amazon) for THE MIGHTY STORM and WETHERING THE STORM those books will ONLY be
available to buy through Amazon as of the 20th August 2013. Until
that date, THE MIGHTY STORM will still be available to buy on all other sites,
but it will be taken down on the 19th August and will then only be
available on Amazon. This applies to ebook and paperback. WETHERING THE STORM
is currently available for pre-order with Amazon.
As for my other books, THE BRINGER, FIRST BITTEN
AND ORIGINAL SIN, they will remain as they are, available on ALL sites as they
are self-published/indie publisher.
As for the THIRD STORM BOOK, Tom’s story (yet to be
titled). I haven’t signed a deal for it at this time, BUT Montlake have
requested to see it when finished, so if I do sign for Tom’s book with
Montlake, the same will stand for that and it will only be available through
Amazon. If not, it will be self-published and available through ALL sellers.
As for future books, i.e. TROUBLE ...as it stands
at the moment, I’m self-publishing Trouble and it will be available through ALL
sellers.

An update...
On my last update, I said that I
was aiming to have BLOOD LIES released in the summer and for TROUBLE to follow …
but unfortunately it’s not going to plan L I’ve sat
down many times to write BLOOD LIES, but Alex just doesn’t seem to want to tell
her story at the moment. Frustrating, I know. But I’m not going to force the
story out. If I do it’ll end up being sub-par and I don’t want to do that to
you the readers or the characters. You guys deserve the best story I can write,
so for now I’m putting BLOOD LIES on hold for a little while. I hope you’ll all
understand this. I apologise profusely, but when the story’s not coming, it’s not
coming. I’m telling you all this now as I want to be straight and upfront. And PLEASE
know that I appreciate your patience and loyalty to the AJ series and me. I
<3 you all!
On a good note, one of my
characters is talking to me (I know I sound a little crazy when I say this!)
Mia’s voice is loud and clear and she has a lot to say, so I’m steaming ahead
with TROUBLE, which will mean that this will be released in this summer, if not
a little earlier … but I’m not setting any dates yet!
So with that said, keep an eye
out for TROUBLE teasers … and I have a little something coming for you all in
the next few days ;)
WTS is still on schedule for
August 20th, and after that I will begin writing Tom and Lyla’s
story – I cannot freaking wait to get stuck into Tom!

My 2013/14 Book Releases
Over the last couple of days, many of you have been messaging me asking
when my other books aside from Wethering The Storm will be
released, so this is the order of releases as they currently stand, and of
course they are subject to change…
Blood Lies – I know you AJ fans have
been waiting an age for this book, so it’s taking some precedence (aside from
the Wethering
The Storm edits of course!). I’m aiming for a late Spring/early Summer
release.
Then it will be Trouble which I’m hoping will reach you all around the same
time as Blood Lies if not just a little after. I don’t want to wait too
long to get Mia and Jordan to you!
As you now know Wethering The Storm will be released
on the 20th August 2013.
After that I’ll be working on the third Storm book, which is
currently untitled. This will be Tom and Lyla’s story, and will be released in
2014.
Lastly…. after Tom’s book is finished, I will be starting a new adult
series in early 2014, which I’m VERY excited about! ;)
I promised good news today, so here it is….
There’s going to be a THIRD Storm book!!! I know when I’ve been asked in the past if there’d be a third book, my response was always, ‘Tru and Jake will only have two books.’ That was always and still is true, because book 3 in the Storm series will be …. *drum roll* …… TOM'S book!! Yes, my pussy cat Tom is getting his very own book! And knowing Tom, it’s going to be a crazy, wild ride!

An update...
Okay, so this is a
little update on how things stand at the moment …. As you all now know WTS is
finished, it’s going to my editor in a few days, and from there on it’s in the
hands of my publisher. I know the release date has been flip flopping all over
the place, so for now until I have the definite date chiselled in stone, I’m
not uttering a word. But I promise once it’s concrete and final, I’ll tell you
all … and I just want to take this moment to thank you all for your patience in
this. I know how frustrating it is when release dates are constantly been
changed :)
AJ fans … I’ll be
writing Blood Lies very soon. I’m aiming for a late Spring release … but I’m not making any promises on a date
because they always come back to bite me in the arse. And the other reason for
non-committal on a date is because I’ll be also writing another brand spanking
new book at the same time! As a writer, when these flashes of inspiration come
to you, you have to grab hold of them and run with the story.
All I’ll say about
this new one is …. it’s New Adult, and I’m FREAKING EXCITED about it … oh, and
the title …. well, it’s called ‘TROUBLE’ ;)

Wethering The Storm Teaser - Jake POV
