***IMPORTANT MESSAGE***
I’ve wrote a few posts concerning this, but I’m obviously not reaching everyone as I’m still getting messages daily asking this question. So if as many of you could SHARE this post and tell your friends, I would appreciate it, as I don’t want people to get to release day and be disappointed.
Wethering the Storm will ONLY be available to purchase via Amazon. It will NOT be available to buy on any other sites. The reason being that my publisher is Montlake – a division of Amazon Publishing.
I know many of you purchased The Mighty Storm when it was self-pubbed via other outlets, and I did take this into consideration when Montlake approached me with their deal, but signing with a traditional publisher had always been a dream of mine and I had to go with my heart. Also, when making the decision to sign with Montlake, I factored in that many people nowadays have iPhones, iPads, etc. where the Kindle app can be downloaded, allowing them to; if they choose, to buy and read WTS. And it will be available in paperback.
I am truly sorry to those of you who don’t have a Kindle or access to a Kindle app. Trust me, you weren’t overlooked, I didn’t make this decision lightly.
Thanks for all the support you have given me – its means the absolute world. I wouldn’t be here, if it weren’t for you guys.
And lastly….. 19 days.

TROUBLE TEASER
I'm having some real fun with Jordan today! So I
thought I'd share a tidbit from TROUBLE, and the candy... well, just because...
Jordan ~
“Cool. We’ll watch a movie then.” I get to my feet. “I have a shitload of great movies in there – so you choose.” I point to the cabinet next to the TV, indicating their whereabouts. “I’m just gonna go change.”
I feel Mia’s eyes on me as I leave the room. The second I’m out of sight,
I run downstairs to my room. Yes, I’m that
lame.
I change into a tank and shorts, spray deodorant, put on some
aftershave, and brush my teeth – you know just in case.
I’m an optimistic kind of guy. And that was optimistic, not opportunistic.

What Wethering is about...
I think I might have put this post up before a while back... but I'll say it again, just to be sure, because I've seen quite a lot of mentions lately around what WETHERING THE STORM is about. And for some reason, some people are under the impression that WTS will be the retelling of The Mighty Storm, from Jake's POV.
It's not.
WTS is the sequel to TMS. Told predominantly told from Tru's POV, but there are chapters told from Jake's POV also.
Just thought I'd clear that up. Happy Hump Day! :)

TROUBLE TEASER....
I thought
it was about time I gave you a TEASER of TROUBLE, as I've been pretty quiet
about it, since I started rewriting it! It's taken me an age to pick a scene,
and this is the only one which doesn't give away any spoilers! This scene is
from Jordan's POV, and Mia and Jordan are collecting his dog Dozer from the
vets.
It's not smexy, but there is cussing, so I'm putting the "18+ WARNING" on just in case, and of course it’s unedited, subject to change, etc.

I
make my way back over to Mia, where Dozer is still making doe eyes at her.
Even
my dog is crazy about her.
Not
that I’m crazy about her. No fucking way. Absolutely not. Never. Ever.
“Ready?”
I reach down for Dozer’s leash.
Turning
his head, he knocks my hand away with that huge cone he’s wearing, and puts his
leash in his mouth and holds it out for Mia to take.
Nice
Dozer, blowing me off for a chick. I think he forgets who feeds him.
Not
that I can blame him though. I’d do the same. I’d let her lead me around all
day long if she asked – only if I got a pay day at the end of it of course.
Taking
the leash from his mouth, she rubs his head.
She gazes
up at me, a smile pushing the corner of her mouth. “Is it okay with you if I
walk him out to your car?”
“Doesn’t
look like you’ve got much of a choice.” I grin in the direction of Dozer’s
wagging tail. “I think you’ve got an admirer.”
She
giggles. It’s one of the sexist sounds I’ve ever heard.
“Well
Dozer wouldn’t be a bad admirer to have, but I reckon I’m just a new face to
get some attention from—not that I imagine you ever struggle for attention,”
she says to Dozer. “Handsome boy that you are…aren’t you…yes, you are.” She smooshes
his face in her hands, and I actually find myself jealous of my dog.
I’m
jealous of my dog.
I
really need to get laid.
“Let’s
go.” I shove my hands in my pockets, and head for the door and out to my car.
I help
Dozer in the back seat. Turning, I find Mia hovering behind me, as he settles
himself.
“Should
I sit in the back with him?” she asks, biting her lip.
Jesus,
I want to bite that lip. Lick it. Suck it. Fuck it.
I
see Dozer’s head lift, and ears prick up. “Nah, he’ll be fine. You’ll have more
room up front here next to me.”
“Okay…if
you’re sure.”
I
see Dozer’s head drop on a grunt.
I hold
back the smile I feel, as I watch Mia walk around the car and climb in. But as
I’m getting in the car, I can’t resist giving Dozer a smug grin.
Honestly,
the look he’s giving me right now – I reckon if he could flip me off, he would.
Yep, you lost that round, Dozer.
I
turn the ignition, feeling pretty satisfied with myself that I’ve got Mia
sitting up front with me…then it hits me.
I
was just in a pissing contest with my dog.
There
are no words.

Trouble....
Some of you have been asking me about Trouble, if it will still be released in June... the short answer is no. To cut a long story short, I was struggling to write Trouble. It took a while to figure out why... resulting in a long chat with my Beta and an even longer conversation with my hubby... turns out I was writing the wrong story. I was writing the story I wanted Mia and Jordan to have, not the story they were trying to tell me. And trust me things run a lot smoother when I just go with their flow - especially Jordan’s ;)
So this means everything I have written so far is null and void. I'm starting again. Sounds bad. Not really, because I'm actually writing the story a lot faster now that I'm listening to them.
Date for release? Not sure. But I promise to keep you all posted.

Morning lovelies! So I have news..... THE MIGHTY STORM is getting a BRAND NEW COVER!!!
I've seen it and it is beautiful. I really, really love it. I will be sad to say goodbye to my old cover, but both myself and my publisher think the new one really works. You'll know what I mean when you see it, AND speaking of seeing it.... the new cover will be revealed at the end of this week!
Also the cover for WETHERNG THE STORM has had a little touch up to keep them both in line with one another, and I'll be revealing that too.
